Project Overview
“Matara L'Mishard” is a long-standing office equipment business that launched with a dedicated e-commerce website as an additional growth channel. The goal: to make it easier for existing customers to reorder, open the door to new customers, and create a clean and fast purchasing experience, both on desktop and mobile.
UX/UI characterization and design
- Full characterization: mapping target audiences, types of items, and typical shopping carts (“return orders”, “monthly supplies”).
- Simple hierarchical structure: Categories → Subcategories → Product, with clear names and consistent order.
- Clean and precise design: product cards with only essential information, clear action buttons, and high readability.
- Mobile-first: Fast navigation, bold search, and short actions on a small screen width.
Development and infrastructure
- Secure settlement: Integration with a standards-compliant payment gateway, with clear validations and notifications.
- Shipping: Smart shipping method and cost settings by region/basket.
- Performance and security: Asset compression, tiered loading, and CDN to maintain speed and stability.
- Essential pages: Returns/Privacy/Terms and Conditions, Accessibility Support, and View Service Details.
Cataloging and daily management
- Data optimization: Uniform names, characteristics, and tags for efficient handling of hundreds of items.
- Smart collections: “New”, “Sales”, “Best Sellers” for dynamic and fast management.
- Search and filtering: Highlighting search at the top of the site and basic filters by category/brand/price range.
Customer Journey and CRO
- Simplify the flow: from the main page to the cart and checkout in a minimum number of steps.
- Trust and transparency: Delivery times, returns, and service — prominent and clear throughout the funnel.
- Subtle upsells: Relevant complementary offers on the product page and in the cart (without clutter).
