The office website is one of the largest and leading office supply websites in Israel, with tens of thousands of business and private customers. The previous website was based on closed source development that was over 25 years old, which made the migration to the Shopify Plus platform a particularly significant technological challenge, which at times seemed almost impossible.

The project involved a transition from a complex, data-intensive website with old functions, slow and choppy - to a new, fast, smart and easy-to-manage website, while fully preserving information, logical structures and business management interfaces, while combining advanced automation and creative solutions for all customer requirements.

Technical and data migration

• Import hundreds of thousands of products, categories, subcategories, and images from Legacy systems.
• Remapping a particularly complex hierarchical structure that includes a mega-menu with hundreds of menu items.
• Maintaining existing business customizations while adapting them to the Shopify Plus ecosystem.

• Smart Upsells: Adding secondary sales offers on product pages, the shopping cart, and at checkout – depending on the category or brand.
• Wholesale (B2B) add-on: Separate catalogs for businesses, prices before VAT, tiered pricing, and quick ordering in quantities.
• Advanced Permission Management: User-level access management and permission distribution interface for business customers.
• Display customized prices: Different prices by company, trade agreements, or customer group.
