Project Overview

Platin Express is a large-scale retail site, offering a vast range of fashion, footwear and accessories from dozens of international brands. SPIKY led the complex migration process from Magento to the Shopify ecosystem, while fully preserving the data, structure and experience - and comprehensively upgrading the performance, design and operational capabilities.

This is one of the most complex projects carried out in Israel on the Shopify platform - both in terms of the amount of data, the structure of the collections and the filtering hierarchy, and the scope of the unique developments carried out.

Migration from a Magento site

• Import and synchronize hundreds of thousands of products, variations, and images at high levels of depth.

• OTP Login: Registration and login using a one-time code via SMS, without the need for a password.
• Brand management (Multi Brands): A flexible structure that allows for dozens of separate brands under one store.
• Dynamic Filters Engine: A unique filtering engine that allows for real-time display changes without reloading.
• Customized promotions system: smart discounts by brand, collection or product type.
• Inventory management and ERP connection: Full integration between on-site inventory and the central management system.

B2B Wholesaler Plugin

• Closed catalogs by customer groups: dedicated pricing, exposure/hiding of collections and brands by customer type.
• Tiered Pricing: Discounts based on quantity/basket levels, tailored to each category or brand.

• Added quantities, SKUs, variants, and a Bulk table for CSV import.
• B2B account management: business onboarding form, admin approval, price group association, and order tracking.
• Documents and Payments: Support for quotation, purchase order (PO), and post-payment accounting document documentation.

Design and user experience

• Premium design combined with focused UX that allows easy accessibility to hundreds of categories.
• Stunning brand pages that showcase high-quality campaigns, collections, and images.
• Focused product pages – including technical information, related product recommendations, and smart variation display.
• Ultra-fast performance thanks to advanced optimization and a dedicated CDN.

Results

After an intensive migration process that included many hours of work, in-depth testing, adjustments, and refinements, the new site went live with complete success.
